Exposure To Blue Light

A claim is being made that blue light may keep you alert and offset fatigue when working through the night and missing sleep.

A researcher in the US has studied the effect of exposure to blue on sixteen volunteers and found that it made the people in the group instantly alert.

 

Drowsiness was offset for 6.5 hours while the blue light was on.

 

If you are going to work late be sure to use commercially made household ´mood´ bulbs available in blue (and other colors) as there are frequencies and intensities of blue light that can be dangerous to the eyes.
